It is the time of year to give and get some holiday spirit. Here are a couple of plugins to help you jazz up your website for the season.
I can’t remember where I heard this the first time but the message was something like this: If you are having a problem with someone or something, take 100% responsibility for it because if you do, you can change it.
This came to mind recently during a conversation with a friend who was troubled about not getting paid for work that he had done and was upset [Read more...]
I don’t know about you, but my inbox is very cluttered with notifications and messages from many sources that I really do not want. Yet, it is a pain to go into each of them and go through the unsubscribe process. Now we have a pretty great [Read more...]
When I first started doing WordPress Meetups, I met Russell Fair and started working with him on the Meetups and then we co-organized WordCamp Atlanta for a couple of years. Russell is a brilliant programmer and smart entrepreneur with a wife and two elementary school aged kids. After working with Russell for a while I was shocked to find out he had just turned 26.

Video is definitely a plus for your blog posts and website. It certainly adds another dimension to your website for visitors who prefer to watch more than to read, or to do both. But, what I was noticing was how the [Read more...]

They either have no idea what they want, or they get fixated on a bad idea without realizing the ramifications of what they are asking for.
I have been conflicted about this slider issue so I did some research on the topic to help sort out what is what. [Read more...]
On the Internet these days people expect authenticity from the sites they visit. Even Google rewards authenticity by giving better search engine ranking to those who make it clear that they are an author on a website and have a completed profile on Google+. If your site and blog posts are shared on other social media sites, so much the better. The search engines can see these things as [Read more...]
I have written about this before, but it is time to remind people again to make me really happy by adding your contact information to the bottom of your e-mails. You will never do it if you have to type the info in each time so you are in luck because most email programs allow you to [Read more...]
